Can I just take a moment to say how truly blessed I am?
I have an amazing fiance, clean apartment, job, car, cat, parents who will go out of their way to make sure I am taken care of and soon, a new family to bond with and share many memories.
Josh's birthday "weekend" trip was a success. We spent a little too much money but we had a great time seeing his sister and brother-in-law. We also spent it with the best friend/best man. All of the love that was shared still couldn't compare to what I saw when we got back in town and he saw his eldest brother for the first time in forever.
Brotherhood is quite a bond. I can never understand that, but I saw some love that made me gush! I have never met a family that is so intense as this one. They are all so close and welcoming it is just amazing.
I would like to point out too, I really believe this person was a ghost! I heard so much about the eldest and every day I wished for a miracle of plans to be able to see him.
I don't think I can express enough how thrilled I am to be joining this family. Every moment spent with them feels like home.
These next few weeks are going to be packed full of excitement and memories. Taking every moment in is a blast! I don't know what God has in store for us, but he sure is giving us one good ride so far. This is where the countdown begins. Our journey through the "rabbit hole" is now upon us.
