As I type, everyone should be informed I am screaming in my head for Miami Dolphins to have a great season this year. That's right people! Football season is among us.
Well there is no need to say anymore than Dolphins are awesome. Of course if you ask Josh he is cheering for some Northern team. Booo! Here's hoping that we can see a good amount of games with our rabbit ears. So a divided household is what we are going to have. We will agree to disagree every season and when my team beats his, I will be sleeping on the couch (thank goodness for comfy furniture).
Okay, I may be over exaggerating there a bit, but we have realized that we will have a divided household, which is perfectly fine. I am not sure how our cat will feel about this, but she will learn to live.
I have learned a few things from my honey in which I never knew or realized before. This guy is a gentleman ladies! Not that you can have him but I just thought I would throw that out there. My sister-in-law threw one heck of a Bridal Shower for me and I sat there and listened to his answers on one of the games just feeling horrible that I picked lame answers and he really hammed it up! ha!
Case in point-What are you most excited for on your honeymoon?
Josh: Spending time with my love.
Shelby: Mountains and fall leaves
Mountains and fall leaves?? What was I thinking? It's like my brain turned off all of my inner girl and romance and just said "let's have you think like a dude." Of course I am super excited to be spending time with him!
I have been having a love/hate relationship with my brain lately. It was like Christmas today opening all of those gifts from my family and friends. I am not sure how a shower is supposed to work in the first place. Somehow I just went with everything and was literally showered with love and affection. It felt amazing and I don't know if I can thank Myleena enough for hosting the party. She has been a wonderful sister-in-law and I think our relationship is developing nicely!
My brain is just over loaded right now too with where I am going to put everything and hang pictures. There is still so much more to take in. Time really is flying by! (I can't stress that enough)
Josh and I may have our tiffs now and until wedding day (heck, even until forever) about football, who burps the loudest, cleaning the
house, muscles, but no matter what it is I will always be happy to
spend time with him. Learning new things is like opening all of those awesome gifts. Sometimes what is in a small box is better than the biggest box. After all, that is why we are getting married. We
enjoy each others company and somehow my head lays perfectly against him
during snuggle time.
Now if he would just use the new griddle/pannini maker to cook us some noms-noms...hmm
