Communication

There once was a Mr. and Mrs. who spent all of their time together. They loved to cook and clean. Hanging out with friends was quite possibly the coolest thing ever. There was never a dull moment in their life, even on the most uneventful of days, they always found something to do.

Excuse me. I think you have been creepin' on the wrong post
What that story should say is Josh and Shelby don't know how to be a normal couple and have a conversation together. SURE, we talk about cars and how to clean the bathroom the right way. We can play an Xbox Kinect game without even saying a word. We can exchange pleasantries and chat about our work day. How dare you set us in the same room without giving us something to do. We might just end up stabbing each other by the end of the first hour.  I have mentioned this before in my posts, but I feel now would be the time to elaborate.

Well you might be asking at this point; what does a newlywed couple do on their time off together? Why would you even get married if you can't talk to each other?
I am pretty sure I would answer a little something like this; Well dear friend. You see it is not about the exchanging of words or "I love you's." It is about how valuable our time is spent and what we do with it. Word of the grapevine is that we are a super awesome fun couple and we know how to do some pretty awkward things together.  Sometimes it might even be best to not even try to speak to each other because we seriously might have a speech problem.
The right answer in which I should have said would be this: TELEVISION.

Have you stumbled upon some of the shows that are on now? When we first started dating, we were all about some TOP GEAR. I think that is what brought us close is our love of cars and people with funny British accents. Then we moved on to any criminal/drug related show out there, along with WORLDS DUMBEST.
Now, I like to think of us as "thrill seekers" or "an old married couple with no cable" Which ever pops in to your head first with this next list.
2 Broke girls
Family Feud
The Walking Dead(we have to beg our friend to let us come use her cable box. She really should start charging us)
Big Bang Theory
Mike and Molly
Family Guy
The Simpsons <--Okay now we are just running out of things to watch. I kid you not, these are the shows that bring us together. This is what we talk about all of the time. If you don't watch any of these, we probably won't talk to you either. I can not express the love we have for these simple minded dramas.

This is what you have to work with when you have no cable. Check some of them out. Especially Feud! Steve Harvey will have us in some giggle fits for days. So you see why we hang out together so much. This is why. We hole ourselves up in the apartment, snuggle under some blankets and just stare at a stupid screen. Should we find some friends? absolutely! Are we going to find those friends? Nope. Will we be mad if we miss a show? You don't even know!

Talking is overrated anyways. Someone will always get upset at your opinion and want to punch you in the face. We are newlyweds, we have enough reasons to want to punch each other without the words involved. Couples should just really stick to what they know how to do.

Mrs. Nystrom.
