Kangaroo pouch

This post right here goes out to all my mommy friends. Okay, it could also go out to my family but you guys will see why I am singling out all the young moms.

First thing is first guys. We have made it to over 10 weeks with Nugget inside of me and let me tell you there was a major scare in Tallahassee but mom and baby are cool now so no need to worry, kay? Any who, I woke up a couple days ago and guess what I discovered?

If you didn't guess yet HURRY because I'm gonna blab it. I have a kangaroo pouch! Yep, low and behold it's there. Now I am not saying it is all thanks to Nugget because I have been eating myself out of house and home lately. But I am also not saying that it is due to lack of baby. Nugget is just about prune size, if not a teensy bit bigger which means this uterus of mine is ginormous compared to weeks ago. Don't believe me?

See for yourselves...

The pouch is pretty exciting. It almost lets me believe more and more each day that I really am pregnant. Seriously, if this pouch didn't start growing soon, I would be skeptical!

With reality finally setting in my mind is going stir crazy. This is where I need my ladies.
I am starting to get a few questions lodged in my brain that google just can't help me with. I warn you fellas reading this some of these questions are a bit personal...bear with me here.

1. Why is my stomach so itchy? I have slathered about all of the lotion I can on it and it's still driving me nuts.
2. When are these prenatals going to help my finger nails grow? (mine suck)
3. When will my maternity clothes start fitting? I can't fit in to my regular clothes and I am still too tiny for maternity. What can I do about this?
4. Why is there so much hair everywhere?
5. Can I still lay on my stomach with this pouch?
6. Do the "girls" ever stop hurting?
7. Is so much gas normal?
8. Same goes for the sex drive
9. Seriously...the hair
10. I am getting butterfly/fuzzy feelings. I swear it's movement. Can it really be movement?

Help ladies!
I am going to try to keep a list so whenever more questions pop in my brain I can jot them down, provided pregnancy brain doesn't take over.

xoxo

  1. 1. It's because little roo is growing!! Try a warm oatmeal bath occasionally and avoid hot showers and baths as that can dry your skin out more.
    2. Are you taking pills or gummies? Try taking vitafusion gummies as they get into your system quicker and they have helped my hair and nails in so many ways! You also will get less sick with the gummies.
    3. Try rubber banding your pants. Find maternity clothes on deland swap/sell/giveaway super cheap (I added you btw). Yard selling is the best to find maternity clothes. I feel a saturday yardselling day in a few weeks with you :)
    4. I have no freaking clue but my stomach looks like an albino chewbacca and don't even get me started on how fast the no go area is growing.
    5. I still do occasionally but I put a pillow underneath me. I read you aren't suppose to after like 12 weeks.
    6. Eventually but then the whole nipple thing starts. Pregnancy is not pretty when you're naked.
    7. Let's just say never ever tell a preggo her gas smells but yes. It's the prenatals because you're getting all the nutrition. Drink more water and yes even if you're drinking a lot increase it. More water equals better elasticity equals less stretch marks equals easier birth.
    8. You mean lack of sex drive? Some preggos are yay yay yay yay and I'm like nay nay nay to uncomfortable.
    9. Amen sister!!
    10. Could start being gas but then little roo is growing and your ligaments are stretching! We all feel movement different. Ask your doctor next time where your placenta is.
